A car that could have been once used by the Queen has been bought for a tidy sum in Dorchester today.
Duke's auctioneers has sold the 1951 Rolls Royce for £20,000 pounds to a private collector.
The car was one of only three imported into Kenya for a Royal visit 60 years ago.
During the then Princess Elizabeth's visit to the country in 1952, the car was reputedly scheduled to transport the Princess and her husband.
But the car was never used by the Princess as she received the tragic news of her father, King George VI's death, and flew back immediately to the UK.
The car was brought back to Britain in 1974 and until now has stayed with the same family.
Today it's estimated to sell for between £25,000 to £40,000.
