A stark warning has been issued to motorists who break the law in Weymouth.

Concerns have been raised over reckless driving in an area of the town.

Dorset Police say more road users are disobeying the traffic signs particularly on St Thomas Street and on Lower St Alban Street.

Some of the areas are off limits and should only be used by Taxis, buses, vehicles loading and unloading, and blue badge holders.

But a growing number of people are ignoring the signage and driving through.

Officers say anyone caught doing it is breaking the law and faces prosecution.
