Weymouth are £3000 richer after beating Fareham Town 1-0 away in their FA Cup qualifier. Stewart Yetton scored again, having got a brace last weekend, and the Terras will find out their opponents in the next round on Monday morning, when Dorchester also enter the draw. Weymouth face AFC Totton in the league on Tuesday evening.
Dorchester meanwhile started brightly, with Neil Martin scoring in the first minute, only to lose 3-1 at home to Bishop Stortford. In the second half Lewis Morgan was shown a straight red card, and manager Phil Simkin was also sent to the stands. They're at home to Chelmsford City next Saturday.
Bridport beat Longwell Green Sports 4-0 at home, with all 4 goals coming in the second-half.
In the Championship Bournemouth lost at home 2-1 to Blackpool, and Yeovil drew 1-1 away at Sheffield Wednesday.
In the rugby, Weymouth lost to Corsham 34-7, whilst Dorchester beat the Ivel Barbarians 29-13.
