A Portland Cricket Club who's first team won their league last season is gearing up for their title defence this summer.
The Portland Red Triangle start their pre-season training of fitness and skills sessions at the Osprey Leisure Centre today (Sunday 26th January).
They're inviting other keen cricketers down to join them too.
The team say they're "more than ready" to start their league campaign.
Head Coach Gary Randell told Wessex FM, "This year's pre-season nets and training will be aimed on increasing the fitness and skill levels of all players whether 16 or 60.
The Club has made big strides over the last couple of years both on and off the field and all at the club are committed to continuing this progress. We will be blooding several youngsters into adult cricket this year and all will have to fight to win their place in a starting line-up."
