After more than 600 games over 14 seasons for Dorchester Town,  Mark Jermyn's rejected a new contract and signed a 1 year deal with Poole Town.

Mark joined in 2000 from Torquay United and made more appearances in black and white than any other in the club's history. In fact it was Phil Simkin who signed him when he was in charge of the reserve team.

Simkin told us it's sad to see him go;

"He's been a terrific player for the club but I'm disappointed the club couldn't agree terms for the player, who's now 33,  to remain a Magpie for this season, but I wish him all the best with his move to Poole."

Dorchester will face Poole Town in the Southern League this season.

Speaking to Wessex FM 18 months ago after the Magpies FA Cup giant killing victory over Plymouth Argyle, Mark described it as his greatest achievement while the club.
