I really enjoy spending time in this part of the world, having lived and grown up here. I went to the old Hardye’s school and started out in radio as a teenager in Weymouth.

I did become an Estate Agent for eight years – but don’t hold that against me! Having moved around the South West, it’s great to be back home on Wessex FM.

What’s your favourite film? I would definitely go for The Italian Job. I love the original version for the car chases. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to drive like that along the A35!

What’s the best place in Dorset? I love so much of the area, but I would have to say my garden. It’s fantastic for relaxing on a sunny afternoon, with a cold drink and Wessex FM on the radio. I don’t do much gardening though!

What are your favourite songs? At the moment, I really like Maroon 5. I also really enjoy playing the classic hit songs that make you say – ‘Hey I haven’t heard that in ages’!

Who do you envy? My two cats Tom and Jerry, all they do is eat and sleep, what a life!!

Who annoys you? Roy Cropper – on Corrie – I’m a fan of the soaps, but he is just too weird!

Who would play you in a film about your life? Steve Coogan!!! I’m not sure he looks or even sounds like me but since it’s a film it wouldn’t matter!
