I was born in Weymouth and I love being on air at home. I have worked elsewhere, but it’s when you travel that you realise Dorset and the South really does have something special.

I spend as much time as I can with my young son - who is growing up with the aim of upstaging his old dad at every opportunity. But then that’s just what five year olds do!

What’s your favourite place in Dorset? Corfe Castle… It’s so rich in history and legend. Also the views across Weymouth Bay on a sunny day are just fantastic.

What do you enjoy in life? For many years the ‘paranormal’ has intrigued me, so much so that I research and investigate alleged haunted locations with a team of likeminded friends. Me… A Castle… Dead of Midnight… I’m like a kid in a candy shop!

What songs do you love? I am a huge fan of all kinds of music. I really like a lot of guitar based bands like U2 or the Kaiser Chiefs.

What’s your favourite film? Rocky Balboa. I’m a massive Stallone fan, and have been since the age of 8.

Who was your first kiss with? Ah! Tracey Tracey Tracey… I can’t mention the surname. Her mum listens to the show. And so does she… With her very well built husband!

Which actor would play you in a film of your life? Eddie Kaye Thomas - Finchy in the American Pie films. John Simm wearing my trademark specs would be the cool option.
