WESSEX FM PEOPLE
Here we look behind the scenes at some of the people at Wessex FM. The folks that make it sound all fluffy and nice when we come out of your speakers. "Fun" and "Unconventional" are two words we use a lot at Wessex FM and our people have fun in and out of work.
We reckon that if we have fun at work, we sound great on the air and hopefully you will love us! It also makes Wessex FM a great place to work.
If ever a job is free at Wessex Fm, this is where you will find it so check back here soon, and you never know you might be spending your days with this lot!
Katie "Mad Eyes" Callaghan
Woop Woop Katie is from the newsroom at Wessex fm,
she is mad with a capital "M" and she loves nothing more
than sitting in a nice bar in Weymouth and sipping on a
cocktail (Woo Woo's are her favourite) so if you bump into
her on a night out make sure you have plenty of cash on
you as she will expect you to by her a drink! Apart from
that though our Katie loves skiing and walking up very
steep hills, she is a bit of an outdoors type really.
Dangerous Donna
As the name suggests, look out for Donna
on a dancefloor near you. DD as she is known
is one of the team that look after the nice
people who advertise on Wessex FM, and
without them there wouldn't be a Wessex FM!
Donna is 28 (obviously) and a busy mum,
but don't let that fool you, this girl still knows
how to party! In her spare time Donna loves relaxing
at home with a nice book and a Campari & Soda.
007 Nick
Here's one of the guys who look after our lovely
advertisers. Nick is a bit of a action man as you
can see from his photo, he is the sort of guy
who would climb a mountain,
hang glide into a canyon, then scuba dive
round to your house,
and all because the lady loves milk tray!
But when he's not living the high action life,
you will find Nick slinking around Dorchester.
Maria "GaGa" Greenwood
Oh Dear it's Maria! Or is it Lady GaGa? obviously
when you're at work it's always essential to have
your "GaGa" glasses close at hand, especialy
when you're reading the news, it helps with all
those hard to pronounce names. Or if you've
been out on a very late night out. When Lady
GaGa isn't reading the news you can usually find
her camping in a tent, next time you're pitching
up in West Bay, check to see who your neighbour is!
Dr Rob
Here's Rob, another of the guys who make things
happen in the Commercial Dept. As you can see
he is obviously late for work (bit extreme Rob!)
Rob is a red wine drinking, red meat eating, go get
type of guy, but before that he was an estate agent
until all his hair fell out. So he decided to work at
Wessex FM. Rob lives near Maiden Newton and
has a young family. He loves spending time with his
wife Beth and the kids Zorbing in his back garden
at the weekend.
"Travel" Matt
Here's Matt stuffing his face as usual. He is the guy that
spends all day watching the roads of Dorset just so you
don't get held up. Matt has recently tied the knot with his
lovely wife Sam. When Matt gets home from a hard day
at work he usualy feeds his pet rabbit "Poppy" (awh)
Matt loves to relax with a nice chick flick and a cheeky
glass of rosé.
