Carnival 2008 in Weymouth was a 3 day fiesta this year. The family fun run took place with over 30 youngsters running from the Pavilion Theatre to Alexandra Gardens and back our Steve Bulley was there to start the event. We also had a stage on the beach for the whole event, Maria greenwood brought the Sunday night “Unplugged” show from Wessex FM to Weymouth beach, showcasing the best in local bands and singer-songwriters.And on day 3 we staged “Boogie On The Beach” all day during Carnival, with some top bands and musicians, plus the team from Weymouth Bay Haven Holiday Park we’re on hand to entertain with an appearance from “Rory” the tiger! The Juno Belly Dancing Troupe also entertained the crowds and even managed to get Del from Wessex Fm to join in!
