In the next 20 years, around 40 properties on Old Castle Road in Portland could disappear. That’s what residents were warned about at a special exhibition on coastal erosion commissioned by the Borough Council. Recently there’s been a number of landslips in the Old Castle Road and Belle Vue areas. The Borough Council are now hoping residents will support them in their application to seek government funding for more research on the north western shore of Portland Harbour.
