You'll want to wash your dog with this

25th September 2016

As a dog owner, there's probably nothing better than a good walk with your four legged friend in our amazing county.

You can take in the breathtaking Dorset countryside, or stroll down one of our amazing beaches or coastal paths.

But, then you have to deal with ... muddy paws!

Lead On Dog Shop on the Granby in Weymouth has a brilliant new way to wash your dog...

Helping at Soul Food in Weymouth

13th September 2016

We're doing Random Acts Of Kindness at the moment on Wessex FM, with thanks to FGP Systems Ltd on the Granby for making much of them possible.

I thought I'd give a special mention to the team at Soul Food in Weymouth.  I popped along there to help last night, as they dished up more hot meals for those who would otherwise go without.

I had a chat with Wendy, who manages the operation:

Well done to all the volunteers and those who donate food locally - helping out for our Random Acts Of Kindness is a drop in the ocean compared to what these people do!
