The London Marathon - done! Now for cycling...

2nd May 2017

On Sunday 23rd April I completed my third challenge, the Virgin Money London Marathon. 26.2 miles of pain around the streets of the capital.

The crowds undoubtedly got me through the race. From mile three my left foot was in agony from plantar fasciitis and as of mile 18, my legs were cramping with every step.

However, remembering why I was taking on such a challenge got me to the finish line in 4 hours 32 minutes.

Each of the last few miles were dedicated to those who I have known who have sadly died in recent years. The thought of them helped me complete.

Thank you to everyone for their support, it is much appreciated and as I write this I am nearly 25% of my fundraising target, thank you very much.

Excitingly, we now have the route for our cycling challenge this September which will be over three days. And I can exclusively reveal it on my blog.

Just as I relax after one physically exhausting challenge, I will be preparing for my next, and I want you to join me.
