Volunteer Trip to Kenya - Ben Parker

Something I have wanted to do for a while now is visit Kenya and do something to improve peoples lives in the country and help them out! I saw an advert pop up for Projects Abroad and saw the opportunity to go to Kenya on a two week volunteer programme and help in childcare centres and with street children! I decided this is something I want to do! Monday 12th March 2018 I will be heading out to Nanyuki in Kenya to help support street kids, kids with special needs and child care centres. So here I am asking for anything you could give to help fund my time on the programme. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and would help me to help others. Any extra money at the end of the fundraising period will be used to buy the kids food and supplies, which I will give to them when I am out there. Thank you in advance. There are more details about the programme here:

Carla's Skydive - Carla Austin

My name is Carla Austin I'm 23 years old and I have a son called Alfie who is now 5! When he was a few months old he was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis which meant he needed a major operation to rebuild his skull else he would have brain damage or worse I could of lost my little boy! he spent time in Oxford John Radcliff Hospital where hey did an amazing job on helping my little boy get better. so I want to give something back to the hospital and charity, Headlines to say thank you as my little boy might not have made it this far! So I am doing a self funded 15000ft skydive. all money raised goes straight to the charity not on the skydive! doing the skydive will be a massive challenge but its nothing compared to what my boy went through.
I hope you can share and help!!

London Marathon 2018 - Steven Paul Woodward

Hi my name is Steven I am a student nurse working within a local mental health trust. A few years ago I was under services as a mental health patient and now due to the support of local services I have recovered and am working within the field that i was receiving support from. It's my 30th birthday next year and I have decided to complete the London marathon in order to raise money for a fantastic charity that provides services in the local area for people suffering from mental illness. Please help me reach my target of £2000 so that these viral services can continue and provide the quality of care that we all deserve when we are at our most vulnerable.
