Volunteer Trip to Kenya - Ben Parker

Something I have wanted to do for a while now is visit Kenya and do something to improve peoples lives in the country and help them out! I saw an advert pop up for Projects Abroad and saw the opportunity to go to Kenya on a two week volunteer programme and help in childcare centres and with street children! I decided this is something I want to do! Monday 12th March 2018 I will be heading out to Nanyuki in Kenya to help support street kids, kids with special needs and child care centres. So here I am asking for anything you could give to help fund my time on the programme. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and would help me to help others. Any extra money at the end of the fundraising period will be used to buy the kids food and supplies, which I will give to them when I am out there. Thank you in advance. There are more details about the programme here:

Carla's Skydive - Carla Austin

My name is Carla Austin I'm 23 years old and I have a son called Alfie who is now 5! When he was a few months old he was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis which meant he needed a major operation to rebuild his skull else he would have brain damage or worse I could of lost my little boy! he spent time in Oxford John Radcliff Hospital where hey did an amazing job on helping my little boy get better. so I want to give something back to the hospital and charity, Headlines to say thank you as my little boy might not have made it this far! So I am doing a self funded 15000ft skydive. all money raised goes straight to the charity not on the skydive! doing the skydive will be a massive challenge but its nothing compared to what my boy went through.
I hope you can share and help!!

Charmouth Challenge 2018 - Claire Williams

The Charmouth Challenge comprises an 8-mile fell run, an 8-mile walk over Golden Cap, and/or a 2-mile fun run. These events are taking place to raise much needed funds for Charmouth Primary School (a registered charity). Charmouth Challenge 2018 is programmed for 7th July with a start time of 10:30.

The Charmouth Challenge website is in the process of being updated and we hope to make 2018 an even bigger event than last year. In order for the event to be bigger, better and slicker than before, we are looking for as much sponsorship as possible.

2018 is expected to attract over 600 entries, many coming from all over the country to our lovely part of the country.
