The Alcohol Education Trust - Cabaret annd supper

Join us for three course supper featuring Dorset produce and cabaret, including two special comedy sketches in Cerne Abbas on Saturday 8th April. Tickets will include a sparkling wine reception and sit down supper of local fare, together with an exhibition of Dorset artists and cost £25. Mayoress - Egg Rolling Derby

Friary Hill, Dorchester

Bring along your hard-boiled eggs and roll them down Friary Hill. Please decorate them to enable us to distinguish which egg belongs to which "chicken". Entry is £1 per egg, all proceeds to the Mayoral charities. There will be prizes for the best performing eggs - adults and children- refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle for a hamper of Easter Eggs. The Town Crier will be starter extraordinaire. We only ask that people gather at the bottom of Friary Hill and not at the top for safety reasons. Your eggs will be launched for you!! No need to enter in advance. Just turn up on the day and roll your eggs.

Join us for a celebration of all things made, grown or produced in Dorset. There will be stalls from local producers and artisans as well as a curated collection of works from a range of Dorset artists and makers.
Entry of £3 on the door includes tea or coffee and biscuits. Children are free of charge. There will light lunches available as well as a raffle and cake stall.
All proceeds will support beneficiaries of the Dorset based Alcohol Education Trust , who work with schools, youth clubs and sports clubs to help young people safe around alcohol. Nothe Fort Events - The World of Peter Pan

Nothe Fort Barrack Road Weymouth DT4 8UF

A repeat of last year’s popular family event. This promises to be a wonderful family day of pirates, red Indians, fairies and mermaids. Many crafts for children to make, face painting, treasure hunt, bouncy castle, pirate games and much more. All included in the entry charge. There will be prizes for the best dressed Peter Pan character and lots of opportunity to join in the various activities on offer. The Fort Artillery will be firing their cannons and leading the battle against the pirates. We would like all you budding apprentice pirates to join in, Don’t forget to bring your cutlass or make your own sword on the day. The FORT VIEW café will be open throughout the day. Disabled access to those with restricted mobility is available to most of the fort. DOGS are welcome providing they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times.
