The carnival street fair enables local groups to raise money through the holding of a stall provided by Dorchester Carnival. The choice of stall activity is up to the participating group.

Please be aware that their are only limited number of stalls available and allocation is on a first come first served basis.  Also provided is an application form for a street collection, which has to be returned to West Dorset District Council at Stratton House, Dorchester, as soon as possible if you are planning to sell items, or hold a draw (these forms must be with the Council by 28th May).  However, stalls offering games of ‘instant win’ (tom bolas, games for immediate prizes etc.) do not have to apply.  The associated guidance documents have been enclosed but the form is relatively straightforward.
