Chlamydia Screening:

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection that affects approximately 1 in 8 young people aged 15 – 24 year and can lead to long term consequences including infertility. To get tested:

>  Log on to www.keeplovesweet.co.uk for more information and to request a free home test kit by post click on “STI’s” then “Chlamydia”

>  Or Text TEST followed by your AGE and POSTCODE to 60777

>  To speak to a nurse or doctor and request a test, phone 0300 303 1948 or pop in to one of the Contraception and Sexual Health Clinics near you.
 

Emergency Contraception:

If you have had unprotected sex, without a condom or method of contraception, emergency contraception can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex. Condoms:

Condoms and femidoms are the only method of contraception which also offer protection from Sexually Transmitted Infections. They come in a range of shapes, sizes, flavours and textures and are free from many local services.
