Ironman  Weymouth 768  Run


SWIM COURSE – 1.2 MILES (1 LAP) - View map by clicking here

The swim course consists of 1 lap in Weymouth Bay starting at Lodmoor Country Park. The swim takes the format of a rolling start where athletes self-seed according to their swimming ability and enter the water in a continuous stream.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth bike course is a 2-lap course taking athletes from Weymouth’s seafront through the rolling Dorset countryside. There will be some stunning views around the Jurassic Coast and National Park with the course also passing the infamous Cerne Abbas Giant as well as picturesque British villages. The course will finish at Transition at Lodmoor Country Park where athletes will take in the quintessentially British seaside town. The IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth bike course is a challenging but rewarding ride taking in just over 1000m with the biggest climb starting around 26 miles and rolling to a height of 833m over 8 miles.

The run course starts from Lodmoor Country Park and takes athletes along the beautiful Weymouth Esplanade across 3.5 laps.  Spectators line the esplanade to cheer the athletes on their 13.1 miles to the finish line.
