Purpose and objectives of the role

To develop a list of clients, with a focus on building and managing new digital/ voucher revenue.

Source leads to maximise online revenue streams for the business.

Support the commercial team, compiling creative with audience figures into professional presentations.


Main duties and responsibilities


Revenue Generation:

  • Source, identify and secure new digital opportunities as a priority.
  • Manage and grow revenue from existing clients.


Client Retention:

  • Manage all aspects of client relations to retain and develop their business.
  • Champion digital & voucher revenue.
  • Frequently visit new and existing clients as necessary to develop long-term relationships and drive client retention.
  • Achieve revenue targets on a monthly basis, generating revenue from new and existing clients.
  • Deliver thorough, professional, high quality customer service.


Sales Support:

  • Support sales colleagues with office admin.
  • Compile and design client presentations for your clients & for other team members.
  • Look after daily banking.


Communication Skills:

  • You are able to lead clients to ensure they choose the most effective campaigns.
  • You influence others through appropriate, open and honest communication.
  • You exercise different communication styles to persuade and influence.
  • You utilise feedback, training and coaching.



  • You plan and forecast effectively to meet targets.
  • You take ownership for addressing issues that impact on achieving objectives.
  • You regularly measure progress and achievements against set objectives.
  • You have become efficient and resourceful in planning, organising and prioritizing work.
  • To develop knowledge of data, trends and relevant information to assist with the sales process.
  • To look at all platforms to sell to the client that is right for their business needs.
  • You always identify the most appropriate sales approach.
  • Ensure CRM system and your contacts are up to date.

  • You have an awareness of changes in the radio industry and the impact of market developments on the business.
  • You attend external networking meetings to develop your personal and company profile.
  • You have an acute awareness of competition in our area.

  • To build and maintain strong relationships within the business.

  • To generate an atmosphere of trust within the team and encourage open communication.
