About:

With the gardening season just around the corner we have got just the thing to get you started and to answer those nagging questions...Four of the greatest gardening brains in Dorset, on hand to help you out in our very first gardeners question time.

The aim of the evening is to also raise as much as possible for the Green Fingers Charity who create magical gardens for children's Hospices.

Here is a quick rundown of our panel..

Our chairman for the evening will be Clive Groves. Clive took over the running of Groves from his Father in the 1970s before handing it over to his son Charlie in 2010. Clive has a wealth of knowledge, particularly with ornamental plants but of course is best known for his love and passion for his favourite plants, the Sweet Violets and Parma Violets, for which he holds the National Collection.

Joining Clive will be three giants of the Dorset Horticultural World...

• Nigel Hewish, head Gardener at Kingston Maurward gardens.
• Stephen Griffith, curator of Abbotsbury Tropical Gardens
• David James, Owner of Marshall James Garden Design Ltd

Don't miss this opportunity to pick some of the greatest gardening brains in the area!
