Entry Fee: £3

When: Saturday 15th June, 2019 - 2:00pm

A traditional village fete will be held in the beautiful gardens of Cranborne Manor, by kind permission of Viscount Cranborne. There is something for everyone in this delightful and historic Dorset setting.

The fete will open at 2pm on Saturday June 15, 2019. Entry is £3 with concessions. Entry includes admission to the gardens of Cranborne Manor originally laid out by John Tradescant, in the early 17th century.

There will be traditional stalls, local produce, plenty of entertainment and sideshows, with traditional maypole dancing, donkey rides, a band and a display of classic cars. There will also be afternoon tea, a Pimms tent and a children’s cafe. The event is being held in aid of church funds. If takings allow, a fund will be started to restore the Cranborne Village Church clock.

The annual Church fete is an important fund raiser but also a very valuable and enjoyable part of our traditional village life, so do come along and join us for an enchanting summer’s afternoon.
