About:

Why not spend a perfect weekend with us? And how English can you get - wonderful village gardens; a Hunt Kennel; a beautiful Church with a flower festival, organ recitals and bell-ringing and an organic farm - all supported throughout the weekend with refreshments in the Village Hall or the Pub, together with the ever present plant stall?
Cattistock village invites you to visit over the weekend of 8th and 9th June, which begins on the Saturday lunchtime with the Cattistock Hunt hounds parading through the village – beautiful gentle souls who love nothing better than to mingle with humans and get as many cuddles as they can. Traditional refreshments are served from noon in either the Village Hall or the award winning Fox and Hounds Pub, followed by lots of our best gardens opening to the public from 1pm on both days. On Saturday afternoon there will also be an opportunity to visit the Hunt Kennels (unusual in that it is based in the village) and hear about how a modern Hunt operates. On the Sunday, as well as the open gardens there will be a family run commercial, organic beef and sheep farm that is based in the village holding an Open Farm Sunday with displays of equipment and animals.
Great value with access to everything for only £5 per adult and all proceeds being split between the Dorchester Hospital Cancer Charity Appeal and the Cattistock Church Fabric Fund.
