About:

These boats are a rare opportunity to see one of the best winter bird spectacles in the UK and offer a two hour landing on Brownsea Island with an exclusive guided tour around the lagoon.

The National Trust, Dorset Wildlife Trust and the RSPB have joined forces to offer the rare opportunity to view one of the best autumn and winter bird spectacles! Over 26,000 birds visit Poole Harbour each year to feed and roost, including Britain's largest over-wintering populations of spoonbills and the biggest flock of avocets in the UK. Large numbers of birds of prey including marsh and hen harrier, peregrine falcon, and merlin can also be seen.

An experienced Ranger will guide you on your tour of the harbour, followed by an opportunity to land on Brownsea Island with a walk around the lagoon.

Bookings can be made through the National Trust: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/brownsea-bird-boats-tickets-62131840006
