3.5 million people will see what Weymouth has to offer over the next month.

Weymouth BID has launched a marketing campaign in Bristol and at West Quay in Southampton.

The aim is to get families from out of the area to book breaks in Weymouth between March and May.

The BID are also taking their We Are Weymouth Brand to a Excursions Trade Show in London where they'll be joined by Abbotsbury Tourism and Bovington Tank Museum.

During the September campaign the BID had the support from the B+B hotel, The Dining Room, Lara Jane Thorpe Photography and Signpost Cycling…. This is what they had to say.

Emma Carter of B+B Weymouth said "B+B Weymouth lives and breathes Weymouth. We are proud of our town -We are a 4 star property overlooking the sea. Our cool, contemporary interior creates the perfect backdrop for enjoying Weymouth.  Our team are well trained individuals whose philosophy is excellent service.  So the chance to celebrate Weymouth and to support the 'Spring Campaign" is an absolute pleasure. We are delighted to be involved.

Roy Griffiths of Signpost Cycling said " Signpost Cycling is especially keen to promote cycling breaks based in Weymouth and this campaign is a brilliant match to our own ambitions of promoting out of season breaks taking advantage of the recently improved safe and flat cycle ways all across the borough which are ideal for families."

Lara Jane Thorpe, Photographer said  "I'm supporting the BID's marketing campaign because I believe in Weymouth. A great place to live, to work and to visit.  I feel that campaigns like this will really show people what Weymouth has to offer. "
