A new venture aims to breathe new life into historical old buildings at West Bay, with plans to create up to 15 new jobs.

A blast from the past is trying to bring more shoppers into West Bay as part plans to build a unique store in the area.

Dean and Abby Souter who are the couple behind Molly's Den Vintage Emporiums are turning the former warehouse in West Bay into a new 18th Century themed shopping destination, which could create 15 local jobs.

Dean told Wessex FM: "When we first saw the building we immediately fell in love with it and saw the potential for the site"

"We have brought 7 vintage retail and trade warehouse on stream and this for us is the logical next step, we can run the site with the same ethos behind Molly's Den but within a historic and beautiful building and courtyard setting."

"If anyone would like to get involved as casual trader or permanent trader with the project, please give me a call."

"Jobs that I am currently looking to fill include: Chefs, waiting staff, stall managers and I am looking into the kind of apprenticeship opportunities we can offer."

"There will also be more vacancies coming up nearer to the launch and across the season"

They're opening the Customs House West Bay in April.
