In 2014 they're up to 65% compared to the previous year.

The ODEON cinema in Dorchester has enjoyed success in 2014, welcoming up to 65% more customers compared to the previous year.

They say over the last 12 months a record number of people visited the cinema in Brewery Square.

Since opening its doors in 2012 the ODEON Dorchester has become a popular venue, holding the title for the highest growth in attendance across the whole group in the UK.

They put their success down to the variety of content shown on the big screen and their ticket prices, which start from just £3 and £2 on a Tuesday.

General manager at the cinema, Alan Escott, said: "We couldn't have asked for a better end to 2014 and with this year's releases including titles from giant movie franchises Marvel, Jurassic Park, Star Wars and James Bond, 2015 is set to be just as brilliant."

"To thanks our guests for their loyal support, our ticket prices haven't gone up and are still among the lowest in the UK."
