Weymouth Bid are bringing a new farmers market to St Thomas Street from April.

New life is going to be breathed into Weymouth Town Centre.

The BID are bringing a new farmers market to St Thomas Street.

It will be held on the last Friday of every month, with the first taking place in April.

They'll be trading from 9am until 2pm, trading Dorset produce from fresh breads and meats to seafood.

Markets are already running in Bridport, Dorchester and Shaftesbury.

Caroline Drever is the Chairman of Dorset Farmers Market - she says everyone in Weymouth town centre will benefit.

"There are foody people in Weymouth as well as in other parts of the county who can come along and support it and keep the money in the local economy."
