Bridport's Sunday Vintage Markets Are Back

Bridport's Vintage Sunday Market returns to St Michael's Trading Estate this Easter.

Organisers hope that the eclectic range of stalls and collectible items will attract visitors from a wider catchment area.

Clive Hayward of Hayward & Co told Wessex FM they're pleased as landlords they are able to support tenants and traders alike by bringing the market back to town.

He said: "We are also very supportive of the plan to attract visitors from a wider catchment area. Exeter, Bristol,
Bournemouth are all within easy reach. This brings more visitors to the town as well as St Michael's"

The dates for 7 markets have been confirmed, starting Sunday April 5 with further events to be held the last Sunday of every month through to September.

They are 26th April, 31st May, 28th June, 26th July, 30th August, 27th September.

This year organisers will each month donate a table top pitch to a local charity to allow them to promote themselves or any events.

Any interested charities should contact either Kate Laing on 01308 538 001 or Lol O'Rawe on 07970 700 983.
