Shop owners in Dorchester are being warned to look out for dodgy Scottish notes.

A number were passed over the counter in the town centre at the weekend.

Police say the £20 and £10 notes are of good quality but have a more waxier feel.

The offender is in his late 20's with short unkempt hair and a beer gut.

Officers want all retailers to remain vigilant and call 999 if they see anyone matching that description.
