Wessex FM has teamed up with Weymouth and Portland Chamber of Commerce to put the South Dorset Candidates in the hot seat.

We're inviting you to Weymouth College on Tuesday evening - so you can make up your mind who to vote for.

Book you seat now.

The following candidates have confirmed their attendance at this event, organised in conjunction with Wessex FM.

- Howard Legg (Liberal Democrats)
- Jane Burnet (Green Party)
- Richard Drax (Conservative)
- Simon Bowkett (Labour)
- Malcolm Shakesby (UKIP)
- Andy Kirkwood (Movement for Active Democracy)
- Mervyn Stewkesbury (Independent)

Doors will open at 6.15pm for registration with the main presentations and Q&A from 6.45pm. The event will close at 7.45pm.

Members of the Chamber of Commerce have been invited to put questions to the candidates. The questions must be submitted in advance, either at registration of the event or by email to info@wpchamber.co.uk. If you are selected to ask your question, you will be advised shortly before the event.     Michelle Hind, President of WPCC said   "Now is the time to invest in Weymouth & Portland -   if you have something to ask then now is the time to do so,  do not wait until after the election and wish that you had.   Candidates are putting themselves on the line and so they should if they want the public to vote for them.  Candidates should expect to provide answers so that we are fully informed before voting - fully informed is to be fully armed".

Non-members of the Chamber are welcome to attend but will not be permitted to put questions to the candidates.
