The managing director of Hall & Woodhouse says their decision to back the Jurassica project was a no brainer.

The managing director of Hall & Woodhouse says their decision to back the Jurassica project was a no brainer.

The Dorset brewery has agreed to finance the development stage of the tourist attraction planned for Portland along with Colonial - the owners of Pennsylvania Castle.

Anthony Woodhouse told Wessex FM the project has big potential.

"You don't get people like Sir David Attenborough lending their name to projects if they haven't got a great deal of legs.  And you just have to look at the benefits the Eden project has brought to Cornwall.  The upsides to this are so great we want to do our best to make it happen."

And it looks like Hall & Woodhouse will not just be making a one off payment to the project.

Anthony Woodhouse told Wessex FM; "Potentially should the project get to the next stage then we will make a significant capital contribution to it."
