The Beauty Hideaway at Osprey Leisure Centre held a Brow-a-thon, offering a day of non-stop eye brow shaping treatments to customers in exchange for a donation to charity to mark their official opening.

A new beauty salon on Portland has marked its official opening with an eye brow raising event.

The Beauty Hideaway at Osprey Leisure Centre held a Brow-a-thon, offering a day of non-stop eye brow shaping treatments to customers in exchange for a donation.

They raised £100 pounds for local charities, including the Andrew Simpson Foundation.

Emily Jones, the new owner of the salon said:  "I am so grateful for such an amazing launch and thank you to everyone who came out to support us and for their generous donations. It was great to be able to give something back to community. I'm so excited for what the future holds for the Beauty Hideaway Portland and I look forward to welcoming new customers soon".

Aarron Riley, Operations Manager at Osprey Leisure Centre said "For a long time we have been looking for a beauty therapist to complement our existing offers at the Leisure Centre, everyone at the Leisure Centre wishes Emily the best in her new venture and we look forward to seeing the business grow".
