A Dorchester charity shop is closing after 12 years in the town.
A spokesman from Cry in Trinity Street has told Wessex FM it was no longer viable to keep the shop open and they have been considering the decision for at least 18 months, ever since they had to close their coffee shop on the first floor.
He added that the bad weather and the new Brewery Square development in town had affected their footfall.
Their lease was coming to an end too and it seemed like the "right opportunity to move on".
Cry's last day of trading is at the end of this month.
But the spokesman said: "Watch and wait. Maybe in a year or two we'll reopen in Dorchester."
