Are you sitting comfortably?  Then I'll begin..

Youngsters from Damers Road First School will be reading stories to residents at Maiden Castle House Care Home today.

The tales have all been written and illustrated by the pupils who are aged between 5 and 9 years old.

They've made the books as part of a school project.

Jenny Webster, activities co-ordinator at Maiden Castle House said: "We are all looking forward to hearing all of the stories that the children have written. The pupils have put in a lot of hard work to make their books and the residents and staff can't wait to hear them."
