LISTEN: Dorset Councils Earn Over a Million from Parking Fees BUT Figures on the Decline

New figures show Dorset Councils earned over 3 million pounds from car parking fees and fines last year.
The RAC has released details accusing local authorities of making huge profits from ticket machines.
The worst offender, Westminster Council in Central London who earned over 40 million pounds last year from people paying to park.
However, both West Dorset and Weymouth and Portland Councils actually took home less money than they did in 2010/2011.
West Dorset earned 1.5 million last year and closer to 1.6 million the year before that.
Weymouth and Portland Borough took 1.7 last year and over 2 million the previous year.
