iPad Snatch In Littlemoor

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man snatched an ipad out of a women's hand as she sat in her car in Littlemoor.

The 53-year old Weymouth woman was using the device whilst parked in Buddleia Close at 4.50pm last Thursday (25th July).

The offender's been described as a white male of slim build, about five feet ten inches tall, aged between 14 to 18. He was wearing a black hooded top with a white peak cap, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Police Constable Billy Taylor, of Weymouth police, told Wessex FM, "The offender ran off in the direction of Dahlia Close. I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or observed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to call Dorset Police."

He added, "I also urge anyone who has been offered a white iPad at an unusually low price to get in touch as soon as possible."

Anyone with information is asked to call Dorset Police on 101.
