Some new Olympic rings are coming to Portland.

The Sailing Academy is to install their own set to keep the legacy alive, a year since the sailig events splashed onto Weymouth and Portland.

The new Olympic Rings will look out to sea from the National Sailing Academy, where Team GB won 5 medals in the sailing events last summer.

A special Paralympic Agitos symbol will also feature and the names of all the athletes who took part on the waters of Weymouth and Portland will be immortalised in Portland Stone as well.

The Academy Board hope to have the show piece in place by the Autumn, to cure those post-Olympic blues.
