Resident Conned by Doorstep Caller in County Town

A doorstep caller has forced his way into a home in Dorchester stealing money from the victim.

The alleged theft happened last Thursday afternoon when a middle-aged man with black hair carrying a folder got into a house on Linden Avenue.

The homeowner insisted he didn't want to buy anything and after the man left he found that cash was missing.

The man is described as between 40- 50 years of age, 5'04"- 5'06" tall, black hair, clean shaven and wearing a light blue coloured short sleeve shirt.
