Get your Walking Boots On!

A local man who left his bank job to lead jaunts along the Jurassic Coast is organising a walking festival for next month (September).
Andy Pedrick will be sorting out the fourth Swanage and Purbeck Walking Festival which'll include historic hikes and more tranquil trails.
Andy Pedrick spoke to Wessex FM and said there's something for all, "The festival has grown enormously, the idea being that we cater for all tastes and fitness abilities. There is such a diverse range of activities and attractions in the area, such as historic villages like Corfe Castle, or protected wildlife areas like the RSPB nature reserve at Arne, that we can provide something for everyone."
Andy added it will also offer new experiences, "It means all taking part get a chance to explore some of the UK's most beautiful Coast and Countryside, that perhaps they wouldn't be able to find by themselves, in a safe managed way."
The festival normally happens in May but this year it's been moved to September after cold weather and landslides. It will run from the 21st of September to the 27th.
The Walking Festival is being sponsored by Dorset Holiday Cottages this year and Hamish Smith, the Manager, told Wessex FM that they "see it as a wonderful way for visitors to enjoy our beautiful coastline and there's no better way to do that than with a local and knowledgeable guide."
