9:01am 4th September 2013
(Updated 9:02am 4th September 2013)

Bonny Sartin from the folk band The Yetties will be giving a very different performance in Dorchester tonight.

He's appearing at Dorset County Museum to talk about his ancestors - Edmund Sartin who took his family from Corscombe to New Zealand in 1840.

Audiences are being promised stories of pestilence, con men and gold fever with plenty of music and song.

Tickets costs £9 and include a glass of wine or cider and a piece of homemade Dorset apple cake.

Doors open at 7pm and the talk starts at 7.30pm.
