Dorset Residents Urged to Report Crime

If you are worried about anti social behaviour or vehicle crime on your street, then Dorset Police want to hear from you.

The 101 non emergency line was set up to deal with issues such as these 2 years ago.

It has now undergone improvements after receiving complaints that the police weren't answering the phone quick enough. The new targets show that they must answer the phone within 30 seconds, and they aim to be 75% to this target soon.

As well as this, Dorset Police are urging people to ring as soon as an incident takes place and not to wait until the busiest times of day; monday mornings and lunchtimes.
