A man who set-up a drugs factory at his home in Weymouth has been jailed and his property confiscated!
52 year old David Walton of Parkmead Road was arrested way back in December 2011.
Dorset Police found cannabis, MDMA and amphetamine with a street value 40 thousand pounds at Walton's drugs factory.
He was arrested and a quantity of cash seized.
While on bail Walton tried to sell the property prompting Officers to commence a confiscation investigation.
The 52 year has been jailed for 4 and a half years. Walton has now been deprived of the proceeds of his criminal activity.
Detective Constable Tim Meaden, of Dorset Police's Economic Crime Unit, said:
"Following the conviction Dorset Police secured a cash forfeiture to the value of £1,344.40, and a confiscation order to the value of £77,178.17, which represents the equity from the sale of the house."
