Rescue from Charmouth River

A man, found alive and floating in the water, has been rescued from the entrance to the river at Charmouth.
Portland Coastguard and Coastal Officers rescued the man yesterday morning and said he was "totally disorientated".
After a search, the coastguards and the lifeboat crew then confirmed that no other persons were in the water
The man was unhurt and checked over by paramedics at the Lyme lifeboat house, before being taken to hospital.
