Clean Your Beach This Weekend

(Updated 10:25pm 24th September 2013)

Hitting Dorset's beaches now the weather's turning may not be what you've planned for this weekend, but that's what hundreds of local volunteers will be doing as part of the 20th Annual Beachwatch Big Weekend (20th-23rd September).

Beaches including Weymouth, Lulworth and Seatown will be cleaned and what's found will be recorded for the Marine Conservation Society.

The Marine Conservation Society, who organise the weekend are still looking for volunteers, and they say that people only need to donate a couple of hours over the weekend and that all the data is extremly important.

To find out which local beaches will be cleaned and to register head to: http://www.mcsuk.org/beachwatch/events
