Hawk Stolen From Kingston Maurward College

Prince Harry Harris Hawk

3:25pm 23rd September 2013

Staff and students at Kingston Maurward College have been left distraught at the theft of their much loved Harris Hawk.

15 year old Prince Harry was taken sometime over the weekend.

They're looking back through at CCTV images and fear that Prince, who can't fly for long - won't be able to survive without specialist care.

A college spokesperson said: "Prince is 15 years old and has slight damage to his right wing where he had an operation two years ago. New feathers have grown but they will never get to full length, so he cannot fly well or for long and is unable to hunt. We are concerned that without our care and understanding of his condition he will not be able to survive. His handler is overcome with grief and really just wants him back home."

Prince is very much loved by students, staff and the public and they all want him back. If you have any information, please contact Dorset Police or call the college on 01305 215035, email marketing@kmc.ac.uk or direct message the college on www.facebook.com/kingstonmaurward or @tweet_kmc
