12:04am 29th September 2013
(Updated 5:19pm 29th September 2013)

The findings of an investigation into serious flooding in three Dorset villages will be revealed tomorrow.  (Monday 30th September).

Dorset County Council's flood risk team commissioned an investigation to find out what the contributory factors were and how they can be avoided in the future.

Hilary Cox, the county council's Cabinet member for environment, said:

"The management of flood risk needs to involve the whole community. This meeting will give local people an understanding of what the main findings of the report are. It will also clarify what can be done to help the villages so that we don't get a repeat of last July's events."

Tomorrow's meeting is taking place at Martinstown Village hall from 2.30 till 5pm.
