Farmland To Grow Solar Panels
12:52pm 30th September 2013
A renewable energy schemed planned for Dorset could see solar panels cover farmland the size of more than 100 football pitches.
The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England will be debating the merits of the Charborough Estate scheme at Frampton Village Hall.
They're holding a seminar looking at balancing the need for renewable energy while protecting the local landscape.
"It should be an informative and educational event which we hope to see people airing their views, both for and against renewable energy applications," said Dorset CPRE chairman, Richard Nicholls.
The event will run from 10.30am until 3pm with the £10 fee including a buffet lunch and tea/coffee. £5 for those who do not want lunch.
To book for the event please email - email@example.com or telephone 01305 265808 and leave a message.
