Villagers Pack Meeting To Hear Flooding Report
7:37am 1st October 2013
More than 100 residents from 3 Dorset villages turned out to hear a report into flooding which caused severe problems in the summer of last year.
Winterborne Abbas, Winterborne Steepleton and Martinstown were left impassable for several days following torrential rain.
Dorset County Council's told Wessex FM they're looking at securing funding to improve flood defences.
They revealed the findings of a special report at a public meeting in Martinstown yesterday.
Local resident Stuart Hamshire was there and he told us he wasn’t really impressed.
