South West Trains, that serves Dorset, has been given an award for their cycle facilities.
The prize from the National Cycling Awards recognises the rail operator's contribution to improving bike facilities at their stations and on-board carriages.
Sam McCarthy, Commercial Director for the South West Trains - Network Rail Alliance said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this recognition for the excellent work that has taken place on our network to provide safer, convenient and easier access to our station for cyclists.
"We deliver additional parking facilities to encourage more people to cycle to rail stations to continue their journeys by train. The railways are one of the most environmentally friendly means of transport and if we can encourage our passengers to travel to the station using their bike, then it will help to reduce their carbon footprint even further."
