Rodwell Trail Sign Stolen

weymouth and portland

8:02am 7th December 2013

Vandals have removed signs that stop walkers using a dangerous path on the Rodwell trail.
Signs were put up to close the footpath by the Wyke Road Bridge after a landslide last year But recently vandals have targetted the site by removing the signs and the fence leaving walkers vulnerable.

Gabion baskets of stones have been put across the access point but the new fencing has already been damaged.

Weymouth and Portland Bourough Council are working with the county council to reopen the pathway as soon as possible.
