Olympic Sailor Calls For More Backing For Rio 2016

Portland's Olympic sailing star Luke Patience is calling on businesses to get behind Team GB's sailors in the build up to Rio 2016.

Having bagged silver in the 470 class at London 2012 - Luke says its financial backing which can make the crucial difference of coming home with a medal.

Speaking to Wessex FM Luke says sailing is an expensive sport and there's a perception its well funded.

He says although they have their big backers more support could be the key to future success.
